Today I read a Tweet from Instinct Magazine about Singer/Rapper Azealia Banks being open and proud of being Homophobic. I'm not quite sure if this is a Publicity stunt for her or what. It struck a nerve with me, because I have recently took up the HeForShe cause, of Gender Equality for Woman, and I feel this statement "do you know that I am a woman and I invented everything feminine? Including giving birth to gay men?do you know that your mother pushed you out of her pussy? your father did not push you out of his dick." doesn't make her sound very educated as a woman. She has made herself sound ignorant and frankly just plain stupid. In this day and age how is it possible that these sort of statements and comments are acceptable in the media. How is being proud of being homophobic gonna get you positive publicity? Ignorance is NOT always Bliss!
